Elevator Pitch 2

2) The feedback I received on my first elevator pitch was that it was kind of on the shorter side and didn't explain the problem in detail. Also, in the first elevator pitch, I was sitting down and used a webcam.
3) In this elevator pitch, I tried to include statistical proofs to prove why one should compete and made the pitch a little longer. Also, I was not sitting this time and tried to make the pitch as dynamic as possible.
Hi Toshi,
ReplyDeleteGreat elevator pitch! I definitely think that you standing up was an improvement. I also think you using hand gestures was another change you made for the better. Hand motions can keep people interested whenever someone is talking for a long time. One thing that may be good would be to add more emotion but this is something I also need to improve on. I think it is a little harder in this scenario because you are talking to yourself in a room but I think you improved a lot on this one.

ReplyDeleteHello Toshi,
ReplyDeleteI think your elevator pitch has improved noticeably since last time (e.g. through you standing up and through a better light source). Your citing of an accredited association also helped to build your credibility (if you can mention it earlier, it may have more impact). At the end, I noticed you used a few rhetorical questions to encourage the listener to be onboard with your idea. I actually believe these could be closed out with a line like “If so, join me in creating…” or something to that affect.
